Little Millet Rice
[Also called: Same (Kannada), Samai (Tamil), Samalu (Telugu) and Kutki (Hindi)]
Little Millet Rice can be used to prepare everything that one makes with paddy rice - all the biryanis, pulavs, mixed rices, etc.
Rice is obtained by milling the seed to remove the husk. During this process, we take care that the bran is not removed so we get unpolished, whole grain rice. The bran contains vital nutrients which is essential for the wellbeing of our body.
Add more water while cooking if you are making dishes that are 'runny' and less when you are cooking dishes which need to be 'fluffed'

Little Millet has been traditionally known to prevent constipation & aid stomach related problems. Cooking time for Little is about half to two-thirds as that needed for paddy rice
